Stealing most common Artarmon crime



An armed robbery that took place on August 17, on the corner of Elizabeth St and Burra Rd, was the most serious crime in Artarmon in the three months ended September.

According to the latest crime statistics from North Shore local area command (LAC), the most common crime was stealing. In all, 26 incidents of stealing out of 54 crimes were reported to the North Shore LAC.

The second most common crime was break and enter, 11 incidents; followed by malicious damage, 10.

The majority of crimes took place in the Artarmon industrial area, at 24; while Reserve Rd was the street which had the most crimes, at 12.
